The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in the Merthyr Region.

We are looking for a vet who can work as part of a team and sole charge across our Merthyr Tydfil and Aberdare branches.

Merthyr Tydfil is a busy practice, in a large building that has 3 consulting rooms, operating theatre and imaging room. We work with VVS to support ultrasound scanning if required. You would be working as part a team with four vets, six nurses and three receptionists. The practice sees a good mix of cases, including plenty of ECC cases. The role would be a mix of consulting and operating.

Our Aberdare practice is situated in the heart of the town centre and is a mix of consulting and operating sole charge. It is a well equipped practice, with ultrasound, dental machine and in house lab. You would be working with an RVN and receptionist.

The rota would be a mix of the two clinics, 8.30-6pm 4 days per week, with inclusion on the Saturday morning rota 1:4 (9-2pm) at Merthyr. We could discuss other options that may be more suitable to you, so please do get in contact.
