We are looking for a first opinion Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at Medivet Heaton Chapel. You’ll be working alongside an established, long-standing team, including a experienced Lead Vet who has been with the practice for over 15 years.
The practice benefits from a loyal client base and offers a supportive working environment, making it an ideal setting for a vet who is passionate about delivering high-quality, personal care.
Facilities include an in-house laboratory and digital x-ray, with a large car park available at the front for client convenience.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a vet looking to focus on first-opinion work, with the added benefit of referring more complex cases to our nearby 24-hour hospital for continued care and support.
The practice is also due for a full refurbishment in the coming months, further enhancing the working environment and clinical facilities.
This is a part-time role, working 20 hours per week across two days (Friday and one other day), with either 1 in 6 full weekends or 1 in 3 Saturdays, depending on your availability. We’re happy to discuss a pattern/hours that work for you.
If you're looking to join a friendly, experienced team in a practice with great local relationships and strong clinical support, this could be the perfect role for you.
Please contact shan.lewis@medivet.co.uk for a friendly initial conversation.
