We’re looking for a full-time qualified Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and dedicated team at Welwyn Garden City.
This is a thriving 2-Vet practice supported by 2 RVNs, a VCA, and CCA. We’re open Monday to Saturday and see a wide range of cases, including routine procedures, dentals, lump removals, heart scans, and more.
The practice is equipped with in-house x-ray, biochemistry, and haematology facilities, providing an excellent setup for delivering high-quality care. As an RVN here, you’ll carry out nurse consults daily and assist with two or more surgeries most days. The role is varied, and you’ll be expected to support across all areas of the practice, including reception duties, nursing, and some in-house admin tasks.
The rota is a 4-day working week with 9.5-hour shifts. You’ll also be part of a 1 in 6 weekend rota at our Enfield 24-Hour Hospital, alternating between early (07:40–16:00) and late (12:10–20:30) shifts.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and confident nurse who enjoys variety in their role and being part of a close-knit, supportive team.
