Seeking a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to join Medivet Stanmore on a full time basis working 40 hours per week which can be worked over 4 or 5 days with 1:6 weekends at Watford 24 Hour.
The practice has great facilities including x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound a theatre and a consult room. Stanmore works closely with Medivet Hendon and Watford 24 Hour practices.
There is parking at the practice.
You will be working in a fast paced environment with a busy caseload and a loyal client base.

Role Accountabilities

In this role you will:
Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients.
Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post procedure activity.
Carry out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities.
Deliver patient monitoring and care.
Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team.
Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care.
Dispense and check medication.
Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards.
Hold briefings to engage and co-ordinate your team to support the most effective running of the practice.
Your Skills and Experience
RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care.
Experienced in working effectively as part of a team.
Experience of supporting Nurse consults, with an understanding of how this contributes to practice performance and efficiency.
Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
