In this role you will play a vital role in providing expert diagnostic services to our growing network of practices, delivering high-quality clinical insights that support the best possible outcomes for pets.
Working as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary pathology team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a varied caseload from across the UK, including haematology, biochemistry, endocrinology, microbiology and cytology.
This is a permanent, full-time position, though flexible or part-time arrangements can be considered for the right candidate. Remote working options are available.
What you’ll do:
Examine and report on cytology samples, including fine needle aspirates, effusions and fluids.
Evaluate and interpret results across haematology, biochemistry, endocrinology and microbiology.
Provide telephone and written consultations to veterinary surgeons.
Support the training and development of laboratory technicians and pathology residents.
Contribute to CPD, case discussions, and journal clubs within the team.
Participate in quality control and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you’ll bring:
Board-certified (or board-eligible) by ACVP, ECVP, or FRCPath.
MRCVS or equivalent.
Organised, self-motivated and adaptable, with strong communication skills.
Able to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Enthusiastic about veterinary clinical pathology and committed to continuous development.
