Do you thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment? Are you passionate about exceptional patient care and looking to be part of a team that sets the standard for clinical excellence? Medivet Faygate 24-Hour Hospital is currently seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our supportive and skilled team on a weekend-only basis.

Set within acres of stunning woodland and picturesque countryside, our Faygate practice offers a peaceful setting with the benefit of being close to the South Downs National Park and the Jurassic coastline. Despite the rural surroundings, the hospital is a vibrant and busy hub of veterinary excellence, known for delivering market-leading care to both patients and their owners.

This role is ideal for a Registered Veterinary Nurse looking to contribute meaningfully to a high-performing hospital team. We are looking for someone with a minimum of two years' experience. This role requires working weekend shifts averaging 20 hours per week, you will be part of a collaborative and welcoming team dedicated to providing the highest standards of care. There is flexibility for additional hours for those who would like to expand their involvement further.

Our team includes a diverse and experienced group of clinicians and support staff, working together to deliver outstanding service in a friendly and compassionate environment. The hospital is fully equipped with digital radiography, dental radiography, multiparameter anaesthetic monitoring, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, full in-house lab, CT imaging, and two dedicated theatres. The layout includes a separate cat waiting area, individual species-specific wards, and a dedicated isolation facility — ensuring best-practice protocols are in place throughout the hospital.

Medivet Faygate is accredited by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) as a Small Animal General Practice and serves as an Approved Veterinary Nurse Training Practice, as well as a participant in the Veterinary Graduate Development Programme (VetGDP) — underlining our commitment to clinical standards and professional growth.

If you are an enthusiastic RVN looking to make an impact in a busy, well-equipped hospital with a strong team ethos and a commitment to patient care, we would love to hear from you.
