At Medivet Streatham, you’ll find a welcoming, close-knit team dedicated to providing exceptional care for every patient. This is an exciting opportunity to join the practice at a pivotal time, as we look ahead to expansion and continued growth within the Medivet network.
You’ll be working alongside a supportive team consisting of a Branch Partner, an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse, and two Veterinary Care Assistants. Together, they foster a friendly, collaborative environment where teamwork and patient care are at the heart of everything they do.
The practice is set across a single, spacious floor, designed with both patients and team comfort in mind. Facilities include two consultation rooms, a dedicated theatre, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, dental x-ray, and separate dog and cat waiting areas and kennels. This well-equipped and efficiently designed space allows you to work cases from start to finish and provide high-quality, comprehensive care.
Located in the residential heart of Streatham, the practice is surrounded by a warm and vibrant local community. You’ll find a quaint coffee shop just across the road, a family-run Italian restaurant next door, and an array of independent shops, charity stores, and delicatessens nearby. The area also offers plenty of green spaces, making it an appealing place to both live and work, with a genuine neighbourhood atmosphere.
We are seeking a confident Veterinary Surgeon with a minimum of two years’ UK small animal GP experience, who is comfortable working sole charge while maintaining the support of the wider Medivet network.
This is a full-time, permanent position (40 hours per week). Weekend commitments are flexible and can be discussed, with options including 1 in 3 Saturdays or 1 in 6 full weekends at Medivet Camberwell 24-Hour Hospital.
