Potters Bar, Hertfordshire

Join Our Team as a Full-Time Veterinary Surgeon – Medivet Potters Bar.

Medivet Potters Bar is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a full-time Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and committed team.

Our busy practice is home to a welcoming and enthusiastic group, including our Branch Partner, one additional Veterinary Surgeon, and four RVNs.

They enjoy a high and varied caseload, with a large proportion of insured clients, allowing for thorough workups and continuity of care.

The practice has recently undergone a full refurbishment and now features two consulting rooms, a spacious prep area, a separate theatre, a staff room, and even a lovely garden for break-time downtime.

The in-house equipment includes digital X-ray, biochemistry and haematology analysers, dental facilities, and a small ultrasound. The practice is well supported by the wider Enfield region, with the Enfield 24-Hour Hospital available for overnight care and complex procedures, including laparoscopic surgery. Watford and Hendon hospitals are also nearby for advanced imaging such as MRI and CT.

The Branch Partner is an Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Medicine and is passionate about teaching and discussing cases (often over a coffee!).

A competitive salary is being offered dependent on experience alongside a 4 day week including 1:6 full weekends at Enfield 24 Hour Hospital or 1 in 3 Saturdays covering a small branch run (visiting two or three local practices).

Participation in bank holiday and on-call duties, an additional 2 weekend days per year (ERS).

If you’re interested in joining our team or would like to discuss the role further, please contact Cherell on cherell.reddicks@medivet.co.uk
