Medivet New Cross is seeking an experienced Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy, community-focused practice in one of London’s most vibrant neighbourhoods. Supported by Medivet’s established network, you’ll have the autonomy to shape clinical standards, mentor a dedicated team, and influence the ongoing development of the practice.

The role offers a strong work–life balance with a four-day working week (10-hour shifts) and a 1 in 6 weekend rotation at our Camberwell hospital. You’ll manage a varied and rewarding caseload within a well-equipped practice, supported by nearby 24-hour hospitals and an experienced regional team.

What you’ll be doing

Typically, in this role, you’ll:

  • Deliver exceptional clinical care to patients in consults and surgery to the highest standards of regulatory, practice and operational compliance

  • Develop tailored treatment plans with clients

  • Work collaboratively within a supportive team

  • Share your skills and support our Medivet communities’ development
