We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our welcoming and award-winning team full-time at Medivet Maidenbower, located in the heart of beautiful West Sussex.
Nestled amongst acres of rolling woodland, Maidenbower offers a peaceful and scenic environment, with easy access to the South Downs National Park and stunning coastal walks just a short drive away. Perfectly positioned between London and Brighton, and only 10 minutes from Gatwick Airport, the area combines the tranquillity of the countryside with excellent transport links and urban convenience.
Our purpose-built, well-established practice has an excellent reputation for providing high-quality veterinary care to a loyal client base. Designed with both efficiency and comfort in mind, it features modern, state-of-the-art facilities and a thoughtfully planned layout that supports a smooth working environment and an enjoyable daily flow.
You’ll be joining a close-knit and supportive team, including an experienced all-round vet, four receptionists, two full-time nurses, and four part-time nurses. Our team is known for its friendly, collaborative approach and shared commitment to delivering the very best care for every patient. You’ll have the support you need to develop your skills further (particularly in surgery), and the opportunity to bring your own strengths to a practice that values clinical excellence and teamwork.
We are seeking a confident and motivated Veterinary Surgeon, ideally with experience in a busy GP environment and strong sole charge GP skills with a surgical interest ideal. You should be passionate about providing the highest standards of care, with excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to grow within a positive, collaborative practice.
This is a permanent full-time position, working 40 hours per week with a fair share of the weekend rota (1 in 4 weekends at Maidenbower). In return, we offer a competitive salary, reflective of your experience and skills and a welcoming space for development.
If you’re looking for a role that offers clinical variety, a supportive team and the chance to enjoy life in one of the most desirable areas of West Sussex, we’d love to hear from you.
