A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at Medivet Merthyr Tydfil.
We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys both surgery and medicine, working alongside our Branch Partner and a dedicated team of vets and nurses. Our nurses actively undertake Schedule 3 procedures, ensuring a collaborative environment where high standards of patient care are maintained.
Merthyr Tydfil is a busy first opinion practice seeing a high volume of ECC cases, housed in a spacious building with three consulting rooms, an operating theatre, and an imaging room. We also work with VVS to support ultrasound scanning if required.
The practice is located in Merthyr Tydfil, a vibrant South Wales town with strong community spirit and easy access to the Brecon Beacons for hiking, cycling, and outdoor activities. Good road links connect the town to Cardiff and the M4, offering a great balance of countryside and city life.
This is a full-time role, working 40 hours over 4 days per week with 1 in 4 Saturdays, but we are open to discussing part-time options to suit your lifestyle.
