We have a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and supportive team at Medivet Cowbridge.

Our clinic sits in the heart of Cowbridge, a beautiful and historic market town on the outskirts of Cardiff. Known for its independent shops, cafés, restaurants, and welcoming community, Cowbridge offers an exceptional quality of life. With the coast, countryside, and Cardiff city centre all within easy reach, it’s a brilliant location for anyone seeking a balance of relaxed living and vibrant amenities.

This is a well-rounded role combining both consulting and operating, working as part of a close-knit team of three Vets, RVNs, SVNs, and Receptionists. The practice is a busy small animal clinic equipped with two operating theatres, imaging facilities, dental x-ray, and laser, ensuring you can deliver excellent clinical care with confidence.

This role is 40 hours per week, with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (9am–1pm).

What you’ll be doing

Typically, in this role, you’ll:

  • Deliver exceptional clinical care to patients in consults and surgery to the highest standards of regulatory, practice and operational compliance

  • Develop tailored treatment plans with clients

  • Work collaboratively within a supportive team

  • Share your skills and support our Medivet communities’ development
