Medivet Chester-le-Street is a friendly, close-knit practice, with a team of experienced Veterinary Surgeons, and a passionate group of Nurses and Receptionists.
We're on the lookout for a surgically minded Veterinary Surgeon to complete our fantastic team.
Our well-equipped practice is ideally located near the town centre and offers a spacious, modern environment. Facilities include dedicated wards, a large waiting area, a spacious prep room, and a separate imaging suite. We are proud to be an ISFM-accredited Cat Friendly Clinic, featuring a dedicated feline entrance, waiting area, and hospital ward.

Digital and dental x-ray
Endoscopy
Ultrasound
In-house haematology and biochemistry analyzers
We are offering this on a six month fixed term basis full time of 40 hours over 4 days per week and 1 in 5 Saturdays (8.30 - 12:00).

Typically, in this role, you’ll:
- Deliver exceptional clinical care to patients in consults and surgery to the highest standards of regulatory, practice and operational compliance
- Develop tailored treatment plans with clients
- Work collaboratively within a supportive team
- Share your skills and support our Medivet communities’ development
