We’re looking for an experienced and ambitious Veterinary Surgeon with a strong interest in surgery to join our Medivet Beckenham practice. This is a fantastic opportunity for an advanced surgical vet who is passionate about delivering exceptional clinical care and wants to work in a supportive and progressive environment.

The newly refurbished hospital is well-equipped with ultrasound, digital x-ray, dental x-ray and endoscope, including laparoscopic equipment. We have two operation theatres, five consult rooms, a separate dental room and an imaging room. There’s also a dedicated cat ward to ensure our feline patients are completely separated from dog kennels, along with a separate waiting room and dedicated cat consulting rooms. In addition to our in-house imaging service, we have Virtual Veterinary Service (VVS) support for remote specialist input in heart and abdominal ultrasounds.

Medivet Beckenham is a well-established practice with an excellent surgical caseload and a highly skilled team that prides itself on providing the highest standard of care. The role would suit a vet with a certificate or advanced surgical experience who enjoys tackling a diverse range of surgical cases, from orthopaedics to complex soft tissue procedures.

You’ll be working full-time on a four-day week with one in six weekends, offering a great work-life balance. We offer a competitive salary depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including paid RCVS, VDS and BVA fees, a generous CPD allowance with support towards further qualifications, and opportunities for career progression across our wider Medivet network.

We’re looking for an RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon who is confident in advanced surgery, enjoys mentoring and sharing knowledge, and is committed to delivering outstanding patient outcomes.

If you’re an experienced surgeon looking to take the next step in your career and join a thriving, well-supported practice, we’d love to hear from you.
