Are you a Veterinary Surgeon looking for a role where you can build on your clinical skills, work alongside an experienced and supportive team, and see a fantastic variety of cases?


We’re looking for a full-time Veterinary Surgeon with experience across ultrasound/imaging, ward work and consulting, who enjoys working in a busy hospital environment and wants access to excellent in-house facilities.


You’ll be joining a 24-hour hospital with a friendly, supportive team and a large group of certificate holders, giving you plenty of opportunity to learn, develop and collaborate with colleagues across a wide range of disciplines.


With CT, endoscopy, advanced ultrasound, laparoscopy, orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery all available in-house, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a huge variety of interesting and complex cases while developing your clinical interests.


With fantastic Partners, a collaborative team and strong clinical support around you, this is an exciting opportunity for a Vet who wants to be part of a hospital environment where no two days are the same.


Salary: £50,000–£75,000 depending on experience
Hours: Full-time, 9am–7pm 4 days a week
Weekends: 1 in 6

What you’ll be doing

Typically, in this role, you’ll:

  • Deliver exceptional clinical care to patients in consults and surgery to the highest standards of regulatory, practice and operational compliance
  • Develop tailored treatment plans with clients
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive team
  • Share your skills and support our Medivet communities’ development
