Medivet Orrell Park is seeking an ambitious Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for Cardiology who is eager to develop and grow a dedicated caseload within a thriving, supportive practice.
This role is ideal for a vet looking to build their cardiology expertise and clinical profile, with the autonomy to shape how cardiology services are delivered locally while still enjoying a varied GP caseload. You’ll be supported to develop advanced diagnostic and case management skills, and encouraged to take ownership of your clinical interests as they evolve.
You’ll work closely with the Lead Vet contributing to the ongoing growth and clinical direction of the practice, with genuine opportunities to expand cardiology services and establish yourself as the go-to vet in this area.

In addition, you’ll benefit from close collaboration with Medivet Alder 24-hour hospital, offering access to advanced imaging, complex case support, and round-the-clock inpatient care, ensuring continuity and depth in your cardiology caseload.
This is a full-time role across 4 days per week with 1 in 3 Saturdays, offering an excellent balance of clinical development, case continuity, and long-term career progression, including future partnership opportunities for those looking to invest in and shape a growing service.
