Medivet Bamber Bridge is looking for a passionate and proactive Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly, experienced and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their role, values a strong team ethos, and wants to be part of shaping a practice as it grows and evolves.

The practice is well established within the community and located in a busy suburban area with excellent access to Manchester, Liverpool and the Lake District  ideal for someone seeking a rewarding clinical role alongside great lifestyle options.

Our clinic has recently undergone renovation and is now a modern, well equipped, advanced first opinion practice. We offer a wide range of services including orthopaedics and laparoscopic surgery, providing a fantastic environment to develop your clinical skills.

You’ll be joining a five vet team, including a three times certificate holder in surgery, supported by a fantastic nursing and support team. We pride ourselves on delivering a high standard of care and building long lasting relationships with our clients and their pets, all within a genuinely supportive and collaborative working environment.

The practice is fully equipped with digital X-ray, in-house lab, high-quality ultrasound, laparoscopy, endoscopy, a dental suite with dental X-ray, orthopaedic equipment, capnography and ventilators. We also have separate dog and cat wards and a rabbit-friendly setup. There are regular opportunities to assist with more advanced procedures, making this a great role for someone keen to expand their experience.

We work closely with our nearby Medivet 24-hour Centre and other local branches, meaning you’ll always have access to additional support and opportunities to grow your clinical knowledge within a strong regional network.

We are ideally looking for someone with at least 1–2 years’ UK experience, although we are open to applicants at different stages of their career who are confident, eager to learn and motivated to contribute.

This is a brilliant time to join the team as we continue to invest in both our people and facilities. There is a real opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference, help drive the practice forward and be part of an exciting journey.

We’re passionate about work-life balance and are happy to discuss flexible working options to suit your lifestyle. Ideally, this role would be full time, working 40 hours per week and weekend's one in three.
