We're looking for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join our UK Finance team, playing a key role in supporting strategic decision-making and delivering value across the business.
This role offers the opportunity to partner with a wide range of stakeholders across Finance, Commercial, Operations and Support Functions, providing financial insight, challenge and analysis that helps deliver performance.
What You'll Be Doing
Partnering with the Commercial Director and Commercial team to drive improved material margin through evaluating supplier performance, identifying opportunities for increased value and supporting commercial negotiations through robust financial analysis.
Developing reporting and insight to highlight risks and opportunities together with recommended actions.
Supporting payroll cost management through detailed analysis of labour costs, productivity and operational metrics, working closely with Finance, People and Operations teams.
Providing finance business partnering support to a number of functions across the business, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and performance reporting together with the development of recommended course of action.
Developing financial models and business cases that support investment decisions and operational initiatives.
Building strong relationships across the organisation and acting as a trusted adviser to stakeholders at all levels.
Providing support and cover for Senior Finance Business Partners as required, gaining exposure to a broad range of commercial and strategic finance activities.

What you’ll bring
A recognised professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), or be qualified by experience.
Proven experience in a Finance Business Partnering, Commercial Finance or FP&A role.
Strong financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting skills.
Experience analysing and managing large cost bases, including payroll and operational expenditure.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credibility and influence at all levels.
Strong analytical capability and attention to detail, with the confidence to challenge and provide recommendations.
Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial reporting tools and large data sets.
A proactive, curious and commercially minded approach to problem-solving.
