Location: Support Centre / Hybrid
Reporting to the UK Finance Director, you'll act as the strategic finance lead supporting Medivet's UK growth and investment agenda. Working closely with our Partnerships and Operations teams, you'll provide insightful financial analysis, commercial challenge and investment appraisal to support key business decisions and ensure our growth plans deliver sustainable value.
This is a highly visible role, offering the opportunity to influence senior stakeholders, shape investment decisions and contribute directly to the delivery of Medivet's Three-Year Plan.
What You'll Be Doing
Act as the lead Finance Business Partner for Medivet's Partnership team, supporting our ambition to become a 100% partnership business through strategic financial analysis, modelling, valuations and investment appraisal.
Partner with the Director of Partnerships, Network Directors and wider stakeholders to drive commercial performance, support partnership growth opportunities and maximise value creation across the Partnership Plan.
Lead financial reporting for the Partnership pillar of the Value Creation Plan, providing insight on performance, risks and opportunities.
Provide financial leadership for Medivet's UK capital investment programme, including greenfield developments, practice relocations, estate improvements and clinical equipment investments.
Ensure investment decisions are supported by robust business cases, effective governance and clear return-on-investment measures, while monitoring post-investment performance and benefits realisation.
Support the delivery of the UK budget and Three-Year Plan through forecasting, scenario planning and commercial analysis.
Build strong relationships across Finance, Partnerships and Operations, acting as a trusted adviser and influencing strategic decisions through data-driven insight.
What you’ll bring:
You'll be an experienced Finance Business Partner with a strong commercial mindset and a track record of supporting business growth through strategic financial analysis and stakeholder engagement. You’ll bring:
A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
Significant experience in finance business partnering within a complex, multi-site or fast-paced environment.
Strong financial modelling, investment appraisal and business case development skills.
Experience of capital investment analysis and performance tracking.
Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights.
Strong relationship-building and influencing skills, with confidence working with senior stakeholders.
A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to challenge constructively to drive better business outcomes.
