We’re looking for a surgically minded Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team at Medivet High Green. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a small, close-knit, one-vet practice where your contribution truly makes a difference. The position also includes a 1 in 4 Saturday rota, with time off in lieu, ensuring you have the flexibility and balance to suit your lifestyle. Our clinic is fast-paced and offers a varied, rewarding caseload, with a great mix of medical and surgical work. We regularly welcome peripatetic vets to perform orthopaedic procedures, giving you excellent exposure to advanced surgical cases and the chance to further develop your clinical and surgical nursing skills. In this role, you will provide essential support to the Vet during consultations and procedures, playing a key part in delivering exceptional patient care and outstanding client service. You’ll help foster a positive, collaborative team environment while maintaining the highest standards of clinical governance, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

About you
You’re a RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care. You’re a team player who wants to make a real difference in a practice that values and supports you.
What you’ll be doing
Typically, in this role, you’ll:
- Deliver exceptional care to patients, supporting consults, surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards
- Deliver patient monitoring and care, and manage admissions and discharges
- Deliver exceptional care to your clients
- Work collaboratively within a supportive team
- 30hr a week contract Monday to Friday (Daily hours 9:30-16:00)
- 1:4 Saturdays with Time back in Lieu the following week
