We’re looking for a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our welcoming and well-established team at Medivet Welling in South East London. This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a rewarding career while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
This role offers a four-day working week, with either 1:3 Saturdays or 1:6 full weekends, fair share of Bank Holidays and on-call cover at our nearby 24-hour hospital at Dartford.
At Welling, you’ll work alongside a dedicated Lead Vet, supported by an experienced nursing team, in a friendly and collaborative atmosphere where patient care is always the priority. The practice is well-equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house lab, and spacious consult and theatre rooms.
Welling itself is a peaceful suburban area with a strong community feel, yet it’s just a short commute to central London via Southeastern Rail and local bus links. You’ll enjoy a great mix of leafy parks, charming cafes, and local amenities, the perfect setting for balancing work and life outside the clinic.

You’re a RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care. You’re a team player who wants to make a real difference in a practice that values and supports you.
What you’ll be doing
Typically, in this role, you’ll:
- Deliver exceptional care to patients, carrying out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities, supporting consults, surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards
- Deliver patient monitoring and care, and manage admissions and discharges
- Deliver exceptional care to your clients
- Work collaboratively within a supportive team
