We are looking for a surgically minded Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team at Medivet High Green. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a small, close-knit, one-vet practice supported by a dedicated team. Our clinic is fast-paced, open Monday to Saturday, and offers a varied and rewarding caseload. We see a wide range of medical and surgical cases, and we regularly welcome peripatetic vets to the practice to perform orthopaedic procedures. This provides excellent exposure to advanced surgical work and opportunities to further develop your clinical skills and surgical nursing experience. As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will take responsibility for delivering high-quality nurse-led appointments and providing essential support to the Vet during consultations and procedures. You will play a key role in ensuring exceptional care for our patients and outstanding service for our clients, while fostering a supportive and collaborative environment for colleagues. Maintaining the highest standards of clinical governance, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence will be central to your role.

About you
You’re a RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care. You’re a team player who wants to make a real difference in a practice that values and supports you.
What you’ll be doing
Typically, in this role, you’ll:
- Deliver exceptional care to patients, carrying out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities, supporting consults, surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards
- Deliver patient monitoring and care, and manage admissions and discharges
- Deliver exceptional care to your clients
- Work collaboratively within a supportive team
- 30hr a week contract Monday to Friday (Daily hours 9:30-16:00)
- 1:3 Saturdays with Time back in Lieu the following week
