We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team at our busy 24-hour veterinary hospital in Enfield.
This is an exciting opportunity for an RVN who is keen to work in a modern, well-equipped hospital environment, where they can fully utilise their nursing skills, take an active role in patient care, and continue to develop professionally.
Our hospital offers a wide range of diagnostic and treatment facilities, enabling us to provide a high standard of care to our patients. We are continually investing in our services and are excited to be introducing a CT scanner in the near future, further enhancing our advanced diagnostic capabilities and creating new opportunities for our clinical team.
Located in Enfield, the hospital benefits from excellent transport links to the M25 and free parking.
The Role
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient and client care. Responsibilities will include:
- Running nurse-led consultations and clinics
- Supporting veterinary surgeons with diagnostic and surgical procedures
- Monitoring and caring for hospitalised patients
- Assisting with emergency and critical care cases
- Maintaining high clinical standards and contributing to the smooth running of the hospital
- Supporting and promoting best nursing practices across the team
Working Pattern
This is a full-time position offering an excellent work-life balance, including:
- 4-day working week
- 1 in 6 weekend rota
- Approximately 2 weeks of on-call duties per year
- 2 Bank Holidays per year (with a day off in lieu)
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: £33,072–£37,000 per annum, depending on experience

About you

Typically, in this role, you’ll:
- Deliver exceptional care to patients, carrying out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities, supporting consults, surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards
- Deliver patient monitoring and care, and manage admissions and discharges
- Deliver exceptional care to your clients
- Work collaboratively within a supportive team
