An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team at Medivet Croydon. This is a small, welcoming practice with a loyal client base, where you'll have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with both clients and their pets while delivering exceptional standards of care. Working alongside a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon and two skilled Veterinary Care Assistants, you'll play a key role in supporting the team clinically and maintaining the high standards our clients have come to expect.
This is a varied role where you will utilise your nursing skillset, supporting medical and surgical cases, leading nurse consultations and clinics, carrying out Schedule 3 procedures, and providing gold-standard inpatient care. We are looking for a nurse who enjoys taking ownership, is passionate about patient advocacy, and thrives as part of a collaborative team.

As part of your rota, you will work 1 in 5 weekends at our well-equipped Beckenham 24-Hour Veterinary Hospital, giving you exposure to a diverse and interesting caseload while benefiting from the support of an experienced hospital team. You will also participate in the hospital's bank holiday and on-call rota.
Located in South London, Croydon offers excellent transport links into Central London while also being close to green spaces, cafés, restaurants and shopping facilities. What you’ll be doing
Typically, in this role, you’ll:
- Deliver exceptional care to patients, carrying out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities, supporting consults, surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards
- Deliver patient monitoring and care, and manage admissions and discharges
- Deliver exceptional care to your clients
