We are seeking a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our busy companion animal practice at our Crosby branch. Working 4 days per week with 1 in 4 Saturdays, plus 1–2 bank holidays/on-call weeks per year, you will become part of a supportive and enthusiastic team of 4 vets and 3 nurses (including this role). The practice benefits from a high level of clinical experience within the current team and provides a positive, collaborative working environment with a dedicated nurse consult room and free parking. Our well-equipped practice includes ultrasound, tonometry, in-house biochemistry and haematology blood machines, microscope, digital X-ray, blood pressure monitoring, multi-parameter anaesthetic monitoring, and the Team 4 Vet practice management system. Located in lovely Crosby, close to the beach, local parks, shops, restaurants and cafés, with excellent transport links, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a modern, well-supported small animal practice.

What you’ll be doing

Typically, in this role, you’ll:

  • Deliver exceptional care to patients, carrying out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities, supporting consults, surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards
  • Deliver patient monitoring and care, and manage admissions and discharges
  • Deliver exceptional care to your clients
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive team
