A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team at Medivet Coventry.

The practice is run by a long-standing Branch Partner, has a very active and loyal client base and is a modern, stand-alone building with its own large car park.

It has 3 full-time Vets, 2 RVNs and a further 3 support staff members completing the team.

The branch recently enjoyed a complete refurbishment, there is a separate Nurse Consulting room, sterile operating theatre, self-contained dental suite with dental x-ray as well and standard x-ray room, separate kennels and cattery and a large outdoor space too.

This role is working 40 hours per week on a rota basis between the hours of 8.30am and 7.30pm with 1 in 6 weekends at Leamington 24 Hour Hospital.

About you

You’re a RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care.  You’re a team player who wants to make a real difference in a practice that values and supports you.

What you’ll be doing

Typically, in this role, you’ll:

  • Deliver exceptional care to patients, carrying out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities, supporting consults, surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards

  • Deliver patient monitoring and care, and manage admissions and discharges

  • Deliver exceptional care to your clients

  • Work collaboratively within a supportive team
