Medivet Aston Clinton is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our growing practice in our lovely village location. We’re a 5-vet practice with a fantastic nursing and support team, including 3 RVNs, a Student Nurse, a PCA, and 5 Receptionists. Our team prides itself on working collaboratively, supporting each other, and providing the highest standards of patient and client care. Our practice is a large first-opinion site with separate dog and cat theatres for stress-free patient care, Digital and Dental X-rays, In-house laboratory, a variety of nurse clinics and boarding kennels and a dog groomers conveniently on site. We’re proud to serve our local community and offer a friendly, welcoming environment where our nurses are encouraged to use and develop their full range of skills. This role is full time working 40 hours per week over 4 days (2 early shifts and 2 late shifts for great work-life balance) with 1 in 4 weekends and no out-of-hours.

What you’ll be doing

Typically, in this role, you’ll:

  • Deliver exceptional care to patients, carrying out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities, supporting consults, surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards
  • Deliver patient monitoring and care, and manage admissions and discharges
  • Deliver exceptional care to your clients
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive team
