This is a full-time position—either 4 long days or 5 shorter (8-hour) shifts, with a mix of early and late finishes. You’ll take part in a 1 in 6 weekend rota and a fair share of bank holidays, supported by a dedicated night team.
You’ll primarily be based at our Ashton 24 Hour practice, with occasional cover at our nearby Uppermill branch.
We’re looking for a confident RVN who is comfortable across a varied caseload. This role offers a great balance of autonomy and teamwork, ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership while having strong clinical support.
Our purpose-built hospital is fully equipped with multiple consult rooms, two theatres, separate wards, in-house lab, digital and dental x-ray, ultrasound, and advanced surgical equipment—giving you everything you need to deliver high standards of care.

About you
You’re a RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care. You’re a team player who wants to make a real difference in a practice that values and supports you.
What you’ll be doing
Typically, in this role, you’ll:
- Deliver exceptional care to patients, carrying out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities, supporting consults, surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards
- Deliver patient monitoring and care, and manage admissions and discharges
- Deliver exceptional care to your clients
- Work collaboratively within a supportive team
