If you’re looking for an RVN role where you’ll be part of a supportive, close-knit team with access to the facilities of a 24-hour hospital, Medivet Faygate 24 Hour could be the perfect fit. Set in the countryside with free onsite parking and close to Gatwick Airport, we offer a great balance of advanced clinical care, variety and a friendly team environment.
You’ll join an established team of 5 RVNs, 1 SVN, 6 Vets, 1 VCA and 5 CCAs. We’re open to both newly qualified and experienced RVNs, with a supportive team who are keen to help you develop your skills and confidence.
Our spacious, well-equipped practice includes 4 consult rooms, 2 theatres, CT, ultrasound, dental X-ray and a dedicated dental area, alongside separate imaging and laboratory areas. We also offer laser therapy, with plenty of space for the team to work and relax.
The role is 4 days a week, with a mixture of early shifts (7:30am–4pm) and late shifts (11am–7:30pm), plus 1 in 6 full weekends and a fair share of the on-call and bank holiday rota. And, for something you definitely won’t find at every practice, we even have three wallabies living at Faygate!

About you
You’re a RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care. You’re a team player who wants to make a real difference in a practice that values and supports you.
What you’ll be doing
Typically, in this role, you’ll:
- Deliver exceptional care to patients, carrying out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities, supporting consults, surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards
- Deliver patient monitoring and care, and manage admissions and discharges
- Deliver exceptional care to your clients
- Work collaboratively within a supportive team
