Reporting to: Chief Client Officer (CCO)
You’ll be the key delivery partner to the Chief Client Officer and the Client Leadership Team. You’ll govern the full lifecycle of strategic projects focused on attracting, retaining, and reactivating our client base, turning plans into action and delivering measurable results for our Partners and clinics. You’ll ensure initiatives are delivered on time, on budget, and to an exceptional standard—while also overseeing functional reporting and communications from team-level updates to Board-level insights.
What you’ll Do:
Strategic Project Governance & Delivery
Lead projects from discovery and business case development through to go-live and post-implementation review
Develop detailed project plans, charters, budgets, and KPIs with clear stakeholder alignment
Enforce robust governance frameworks to ensure quality and accountability
Manage resource allocation and proactively resolve delivery challenges
Stakeholder Management
Act as the central point of contact for the Client project portfolio
Represent the CCO in strategic meetings and liaise with the Transformation Office
Engage and influence senior stakeholders across the business and with external partners
Translate complex clinical, operational, and financial concepts into clear, actionable language
Leadership & Change Management
Lead cross-functional teams across Clinical, Operations, IT, and Finance
Design and execute change management strategies to ensure successful adoption
Embed new processes and propositions at clinic level, measuring impact and managing resistance
Risk, Issue & Dependency Management
Identify and own project risks, issues, and dependencies
Develop mitigation strategies and escalate high-impact challenges with data-driven recommendations
Reporting & Strategic Insights
Deliver strategic reporting to senior leaders, Steercos, and Project Boards
Translate project data into insights and actionable recommendations
Own project documentation and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement
What You’ll bring:
Essential Experience & Skills
Proven experience delivering complex, cross-functional business change projects
Expert knowledge of project methodologies (PRINCE2, Agile, PMP) and formal certification
Mastery of stakeholder management, including Exec and Board-level engagement
Strong analytical, strategic planning, and commercial problem-solving skills
Highly organised, proactive, and collaborative leadership style
Resilience and adaptability in managing multiple high-pressure projects
A genuine passion for animal welfare and Medivet’s mission
Desirable Experience
Background in veterinary, healthcare, life sciences, or multi-site clinical/retail sectors
Experience working in partnership or franchise business models
Operational understanding of veterinary practice environments and client expectations
