As Thirsk Hospital's Practice Manager, you will play a core part of the 24 Hour team, overseeing the business and administrative aspects of the clinic, ensuring smooth operations, maintaining high standards of care and teamwork, focusing on financial performance and client satisfaction.
You will work in close collaboration with the Branch Partner - Sarah, supporting in meeting practice goals and KPIs.
This role is full time of 40 hours over 5 weekdays and includes a fair weekend rotation with TOIL given.

You’re a confident, collaborative leader with a passion for delivering exceptional care and, ideally, experience in a clinical setting. A natural communicator, you build strong relationships with clients and inspire the best in your team. To thrive in this role, you’ll bring a strong focus on commercial performance, compliance, and high-quality service delivery. Highly organised and proactive, you’re skilled in systems, data analysis, and resource planning.

What you’ll be doing
Typically, in this role, you’ll:
- Deliver exceptional client care, monitoring client feedback and actioning to improve the practice
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, practice and operational standards
- Support the Partner / Lead Vet with a focus on capacity, skills utilisation and cost management to maximise commercial performance
- Maintain clinic rotas and carry out effective resource planning, diary management and clinic workflow
- Support recruitment, induction and management of colleagues, enabling engagement and retention
