We are looking for an experienced Night Veterinary Surgeon to join our supportive and friendly team in a busy 24-hour Medivet practice in Chorley.
This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality out-of-hours care across several Medivet practices in the region. You’ll enjoy a varied and rewarding caseload, with a strong focus on emergency and critical care alongside inpatient management.
With a 5 on / 10 off rota, this position offers an excellent work–life balance while allowing you to build confidence and expertise in ECC.

Chorley is a vibrant market town set on the edge of the beautiful West Pennine Moors, offering easy access to both countryside and city life. Location: Chorley 24 Hour, supporting regional Medivet practices
Hours: 7pm – 9am | 5 nights on, 10 nights off

Typically, in this role, you’ll:
- Deliver exceptional clinical care to patients in consults and surgery to the highest standards of regulatory, practice and operational compliance
- Develop tailored treatment plans with clients
- Work collaboratively within a supportive team
