We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon with strong surgical experience to join our well-situated practice in Islington, North London.
Medivet Liverpool Road is a well-established and much-loved practice within the local community.
You’ll be working as part of a friendly, close-knit team alongside Ella, one of our experienced vets, with support from our Branch Partner, David. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming and collaborative environment where high standards of patient care are at the heart of everything we do.
Our practice is fully equipped to provide exceptional clinical care, including in-house laboratory facilities, x-ray, ultrasound, dentistry, and an on-site operating theatre.
The Role
Full-time position (40 hours per week)
4-day working week
1 in 3 Saturdays
Fixed-term contract (6 months, maternity cover)
Start date: June 2026
Salary: £60,000 pro rata

Deliver exceptional clinical care in both consultations and surgery, maintaining the highest standards of regulatory and clinical compliance
Develop tailored treatment plans in partnership with clients
Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment
