Looking for your next leadership step in a supportive, well-equipped hospital?
Medivet Thurmaston 24-Hour is a vibrant 3.5 Vet practice led by our Practice Manager, Claire, and we’re excited to welcome a Lead Vet to our growing team.
You’ll enjoy a 4-day week (Monday–Friday) with 1 in 6 weekends (including bank holiday rotation) giving you genuine work-life balance. We’re also happy to chat about part-time options if that suits you better.
Our Thurmaston hospital has been fully refurbished and offers an excellent surgical and soft-tissue caseload, supporting both Medivet and local independent practices with OOH services. You’ll have access to everything you need to deliver outstanding care — digital and dental x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, a tonometer, and orthopaedic kit — with plans underway to expand our three consult rooms even further.
What’s waiting for you:
- A warm welcome, including a £5,000 joining bonus
- Generous CPD allowance with certificates encouraged and supported
- A flexible rota that truly supports your lifestyle
- A close-knit, positive team that values collaboration and kindness
