Medivet Hendon 24-Hour is looking for an experienced and motivated Imaging Vet to join our multi-disciplinary team in one of our busiest hospitals.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, referral-level setting and is looking to focus their clinical work in diagnostic imaging. You'll primarily work with MRI, and CT with some ultrasound imaging as part of a varied and rewarding caseload. You’ll be supported by a dedicated, qualified radiology nurse and a highly skilled clinical team, all committed to delivering exceptional care.
The role primarily involves performing MRI and CT scans after making an initial clinical assessment and differential diagnosis list for a vast range and number of cases and then reporting these to branches or case vets with advice.
You will work alongside an experienced, dedicated Imaging RVN. You will also have the benefit of external support, as the images are sent to our specialist team at VetCT for a full diagnostic report – an excellent learning tool to enhance your knowledge.
You will have a keen interest in advanced imaging and ultrasound and hold a certificate/PHD in imaging or be working towards one.
Ideally, we would like the successful candidate to join early July.

Your Skills and Experience
RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
Experienced in delivering exceptional care to both patients and clients.
Experienced in working effectively as part of a team.
Able to demonstrate clinical leadership skills.
Experience of implementing a progressive clinical culture.
Experience of supporting nurse consults and schedule 3 procedures, with an understanding of how this contributes to clinic performance and efficiency.
Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
