We’re looking for a full-time qualified Head Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and professional team at our small animal practice in Langley (Slough).
Medivet Langley has a well-established client base with over 1,300 active clients and is proudly accredited as a cat-friendly clinic.
The practice features two consult rooms, space for nurse-led clinics, and x-ray facilities. We also have access to advanced diagnostics including MRI, CT, ultrasound, endoscopy, and ECG. For out-of-hours care, the branch is supported by our 24-hour hospital in Watford, ensuring continued high-quality care for your patients.
Located next to the beautiful Langley Park and close to historic landmarks like Windsor Castle, Langley offers a great balance of countryside and convenience. It’s just an hour from London and only 10 minutes from Heathrow Airport.
The rota is a 4 day week with weekends on a 1 in 6 basis at Watford 24 hour.

You’re a RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care. You’re a confident leader with experience of getting the best out of every colleague.

What you’ll be doing
Typically, in this role, you’ll:
Deliver exceptional care to patients, leading nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities, supporting consults, surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards
• Deliver patient monitoring and care, and manage admissions and discharges
• Deliver exceptional care to your clients
• Provide clinical leadership, inspiration and development to the nursing team
