Medivet branch partnerships are the furthest thing from (and so much more than) joint venture partnerships. The difference? Unlike JVPs, the Medivet model is a traditional partnership. We share the costs and profits according to how ownership is split in each branch. That makes us true partners; we also continually invest in our partners through support and training. It’s all so they can become the Veterinary Surgeons and business owners they want to be.

Partnership is an affordable and accessible way for ambitious vets to buy a share of and shape a Medivet practice; we don’t call it a return on investment, rather a return on success and a way to acknowledge the value you bring to the industry. Unlike independent practices, we’re able to offer clinical assistance, business support and help with administrative and non-clinical work, including accountancy and marketing, recruitment, health & safety, equipment sourcing, drugs discounts and much more. This frees up your time for clinical progression and leading your team, and whenever you need it, managerial or clinical advice is always there from our community of nationwide Branch Partners.

Even at this early stage, you’ll see that we’re serious about working together, which is why we’re with you every step of the way even as we explore a range of equity options until we agree on one that works best for you. Then, it’s as easy as choosing your start date.

No, unlike other models in the industry this is a true equity partnership which means we share in the costs and profit together.

Once you’ve been in touch with Ciara, our Director of Clinical Operations, we’ll start exploring practice locations that suit you and organise a valuation for the partnership. Based on this figure, we’ll discuss a range of equity options until we agree on one that works best for you. Then, once we’ve helped you secure finance, it’s as easy as choosing your start date.

Your equity is at a level you can afford and is tailored to you, so Vets who previously thought they couldn’t afford to own a practice, can with our Branch Partnership. As well as the range of equity options, you can sell your share at any time.

Yes! You have complete clinical freedom and the responsibility to instil the ethos you want for your practice and your team, and to reach targets you set for yourself.

Not at all – our partnership focuses on the difference you can make, not how commercially-minded or clinically experienced you are. We offer support, guidance and training to help you develop both clinically and commercially.

Our Branch Partners come from all backgrounds, with varying years’ clinical experience. Our unique Hub and Spoke model and community of 800 professionals means you’re always developing – becoming a Branch Partner expands your career prospects, it doesn’t limit them.

You can purchase up to 50% equity and benefit from unrivalled support in all areas of your role. Unlike independent practice owners, you’ll have access to our Hub and Spoke model complete with state-of-the-art equipment and specialists in our group; we’re an 800 strong vet community with more than 150 Branch Partners.

You’ll have complete clinical freedom and control of your work-life balance; as well as our standard four-day weeks, you’ll get six weeks’ holiday and maternity/paternity benefits. No, Branch Partners have the backing of our Support Centre and Clinical Operations Teams, for administrative and developmental support respectively. You’re never running a practice alone, as we’re there with you. In addition to our support, you can pair up with another Branch Partner to run the business together.

No, you embody your practice and still get to do what you do best – deliver exceptional care that’s always there. Your community will look to you and recognise you in your practice. Outside of that, we share in the risk, costs and profits and your pay is reflective of your position as a Branch Partner, meaning the more successful your practice becomes, the more you can earn.
