As a qualified MRCVS, you’ll already have good experience gained in small animal practice. You’ll be competent in clinical examination and surgery and confident working as sole charge or as part of the wider team. Sharing our values of being trustworthy, caring and progressive, you will have all the softer skills essential to working effectively, building trusting relationships with your colleagues, and harnessing our one-team culture. You will also display good communication skills and the desire to share your knowledge and skills by being an outstanding, positive example to others.
We are looking for a Part-Time vet, days and hours are negotiable to suit you.
Working alongside our branch partner Tine, you'll have responsibility to develop your client base and work your cases up to a high standard. Inhouse radiography, ultrasound and laboratory and the opportunity to manage your more complex cases through Dorchester 24 Hour hospital this role gives you the chance to really develop as a vet.
Portland is situated on it's own "island" close to the large town of Weymouth. With easy access to the Jurassic coast, airports, ferry ports and motorways nearby this opportunity really gives you the chance to live in a fantastic area of England.
