Veterinary Surgeon
Location: Scunthorpe
Working hours: Full time/ Part time
Salary: £55,000 per annum depending upon experience
We are looking for a veterinary surgeon that will have the freedom to follow their own cases at this multi-vet branch. There is a large scope to generate a dedicated client base. All experience levels considered. This role is full time working 39 hours per week.
You must be an vet with a client-oriented approach and excellent communication skills.
Career progression is actively promoted and partnership opportunities are available for the right candidate.
We offer a 4 day working week and have our own dedicated 24 hour centre at Swanlands 24hr Hospital with a supporting ambulance driving service.
Support is available for those wanting to work towards certificate level with full funding available.
Scunthorpe is a central large branch practice with 4 consult rooms and, 1 surgical theatre, digital x-ray room, large prep area.
Digital x-ray, ultrasound, laproscopic equipment inhouse blood machines.

Skills and experience
As a qualified and experienced MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon you will have a passion for emergency and critical care and will thrive on working at gold standard in patient and client care.
We are seeking someone with at least 2 years small animal veterinary experience, who is comfortable with both routine and emergency procedures. All our practices share the same software, so you will have access to your patients’ history at all times; case continuity guaranteed!

Branch
Scunthorpe is located in North Lincolnshire just off the M180 and M18 motorways allowing easy transport links to the Lincolnshire Wolds, Hull, Doncaster, Lincoln and York. It is a bustling town with restaurants, cinema, shopping parks and many other activities.
For those who enjoy country air and long walk, Scunthorpe is a stones throw away from the rolling hills of the Lincolnshire Wolds which is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the highest land between Kent and Yorkshire. In the Wold there are many quaint market villages with plenty of independent shops and history to explore.
To the East there is the popular seaside resort of Cleethorpes with many traditional seaside restaurants and activities, the boating lake, The Jungle Zoo and Cleethorpes Light Railway.
