The Opportunity
Our Low Fell and Washington practices are situated on the outskirts of Gateshead, close to public transport networks and Newcastle Airport. Just 15-20 minutes away from Newcastle city centre, a bustling city to explore, shop in, eat in and live among, and only a short drive out to some of the most breath-taking countryside views that the Northeast has to offer.
Low Fell is a small practice with a super friendly team consisting of; our Lead Veterinary Surgeon Lisa and Vet Surgeon Rasa, a Registered Veterinary Nurse, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses and a Client Care Assistant. The practice has tonnes of potential and is well equipped with: Digital x-ray, doppler blood pressure and multi-parameter that includes ECG, capnography, pulse oximetry and oscillometric blood pressure. Therapeutic Laser and 3 consulting rooms for our 2 vets and one nurse. With a large prep area and theatre, and dedicated separate kennel space for cats, dogs and small furies. It is a super friendly and welcoming team, who love the odd cup of tea and cake when time allows. They have a long standing client base, offering a personal approach to patient and client care, it is very much a first name basis with most clients with extremely strong and positive relationships.
Washington is a friendly practice with a large and devoted client base that has been well established in the area since 1985. It has great facilities including a large waiting room, three consult rooms, a theatre, x-ray, video endoscopy, and a separate cat and dog ward. With a dedicated, large dental suite with dental x-ray. You will be working alongside our; Lead Vet Hannah who is all things dentistry, our Vet Surgeon Sarah who is all about medicine, a dedicated Nursing team and an incredibly welcoming support team along with our Practice Manager Pip. The Washington has been accredited by the RCVS as a Small Animal General Practice, continuing to offer exceptional care to both our patients and clients.
