People Operations Advisor Watford, Hertfordshire Medivet Support Centre Full Time, Fixed Term Contract

The Opportunity

Are you a team player with HR/People experience on the operational side?

This integral role will be to support the regional management teams with the starter and leaver process, basic contractual changes and update and maintain HR records on HRIS and monitor shared inboxes.

You will get the opportunity to add to the continuous improvement of the department by reviewing existing processes and looking at opportunities for automation.

This role is a Six Month Fixed Term Contract.

Role Accountabilities

  • Responsible for allocating tickets via Fresh Service to HR Services
  • Review and authorise workflows completed by the divisional
  • Responsible for picking up complex queries ensuring resolution in a timely
  • Support Fleet Services Advisor with cover or during busy
  • Producing weekly data exports from Fresh Service on new and resolved
  • Build relationships with the divisional teams to encourage better/smarter ways of working and support with any queries that may
  • Administering family leave requests, liaising with payroll to ensure accuracy of information provided to
  • Support with written amendments to terms and conditions for transfers, promotions and probation
  • Ensuring regional management compliance with IR35 processes and writing contracts for casual workers that fall within scope of
  • Co-ordinating monthly recognition activity and allocating rewards on Company benefits platform.
  • Provide guidance and advice to regional management teams on internal processes and signpost to relevant
  • Run adhoc reports to support business initiatives including analysing the data to ensure
  • Working with the business to ensure long service awards are administered in a timely
  • Enter and update colleague details on the HRIS ensuring complete accuracy as the master source of
  • Support the Support Centre HR Business Partner and the HR Services team as part of the project group delivering a seamless and timely annual pay review
  • Carry out any other ad-hoc tasks as directed by members of the HR Management Team.

  • Good attention to detail ensuring all correspondence includes all relevant information, is accurate and delivered in a timely
  • Flexible
  • Good organisation skills and customer service skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills including a confident telephone manner.
  • Good planning skills enabling achievement of multiple priorities within agreed timescales.
  • Good IT skills including Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint, including mail merges
  • Previous experience of working with an HR Information.
