This role is to support our Regional Directors and Clinical Operations team to deliver their clinical maintenance growth plans on time and within budget.

Role Accountabilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with Regional Directors, Area Managers and Branch Partners – to prioritise maintenance works  in a planned manner; to gain support for, and advise on, maximising the of the reactive maintenance budget
  • Prioritise effectively to influence the annual spend on Capital Replacement activity
  • Be the “client manager” for Facilities, Property Projects and Estates Management, with a highly professional and totally focussed customer care approach
  • Be the key contact in the allocated  Division/Region for all  maintenance and other property issues and to represent the interests of clinics within the Support Centre and Managing Agent,
  • Drive supplier performance in terms of their delivery and commerciality
  • Accountable for the communication of property maintenance activities with the Clinics, Area, Regional and Divisional teams – and with all Support Centre functions
  • Accountable for monitoring adherence to compliance on property related health and safety matters in clinics
  • Accountable for assisting with the management of the estate for landlord obligations/lease renewals, etc. as far as they relate to the property condition, etc.
  • Project manage cross functional support office Teams to deliver practice opening plans and timescales
  • Maintain regular communication with all relevant internal and external departments, update, maintain and control the rollout programme to keep stakeholders advised of the works schedule.
  • Produce financial projections for all practices in liaison with finance team
  • Ensure all practice layout design and equipment meets Medivet brand standards and is ordered via procurement
  • Ensure all shopfitters deliver quotes that meet practice financial projections
  • Liase with shopfitters and ensure schedule of works completed to timescale

Your Skills and Experience

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact confidently at all levels
  • Thorough understanding of clinics operations, organisation and processes.
  • Pro-active approach to issue resolution 
  • Passion for customer service and getting the job done
  • Have a good understanding of construction/project terminology and processes.
  • Commercial and financial awareness/acumen
  • Leadership skills, particularly relationship building
  • Ability to understand the complexities of delivering construction/facilities-based projects in a working retail/healthcare environment
  • Familiarity with quality, health, safety and environmental standards
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills and the ability to interact with multiple stakeholders confidently at all levels
  • Pro-active approach to issue resolution with a passion for customer service and getting the job done
  • Commercial and financial awareness/acumen
  • Organised and resilient, having the ability to deliver on deadlines in a constantly evolving environment
  • Able to manage multiple simultaneous projects, of variable stages, at any time
  • A confident communicator, with excellent interpersonal skills, able to engage with stakeholders (both internal and external) at all levels through a variety of mediums
