This role involves supporting business requests for master data maintenance with a high level of accuracy, efficiency and in accordance with internal standards, SLAs and processes.

Role Accountabilities

  • Master Data maintenance: creation, update and archive/deletion processes for all master data including vendors, customers, branches.
  • Ensuring all changes are appropriately authorised and documented in line with internal requirements and processes.
  • Verification of supplier’s bank details.
  • Prepare and validate the data for mass-update.
  • Supporting design, testing and end user training/communication of new processes.
  • Effective identification of master data issues – recommends solutions to address the issues.
  • Keep strong communication and working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ad-hoc support to wider finance team and analyse and troubleshooting on payment run errors from the master data perspective.

Your Skills and Experience

  • 1-2 years’ experience master data maintenance with ability to liaise confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent business and interpersonal communication skills in both written and verbal.
  • English is essential, any second European languages would be useful.
  • Strong technological system skills and computer literacy (MS Office Suite)
  • Experience of ERP/Finance systems. Basic experience of working in an environment with SOX and/or SOP requirements.
  • Experience obtained within a finance department.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and proactive in dealing with issues/self-starter.
  • Hand-on/can-do attitude, enthusiastic team player.
