The Role

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for emergency and critical care who enjoys working to a gold standard.The ideal candidate will be flexible, work well without supervision and have previous experience of working in a busy practice or hospital would be preferred.

All our clinics share the same software so you will have full access to the patients’ history at all times. Case continuity guaranteed! You will have full access to state-of-the-art facilities such as an orthopaedic theatre, digital x-ray, ultrasound, ECG, in addition we have just hired a Lead Vet who can add more value and learning experience to the role!

Medivet Bromborough are seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team in our partnered practice. This role would suit a newly qualified nurse, ready to build on their previous experiences gained whilst studying. 

The clinic has a good surgical and medical caseload, which will enable you to develop your nursing skills fully. You will be assisting in the care of animals and their owners. Undertaking tasks set by senior members of staff in the basic care and running of the practice. Communicating well with clients, meeting and greeting clients and their pets and completing registrations. Monitoring in-patients, providing care and appropriate diets. Assisting vets during examinations and surgeries ensuring the correct procedures are followed for the cleaning and sterilising of instruments, equipment and materials.

The ideal candidate will offer the highest standards of clinical and client care, empathy and be willing to provide valuable peer support to our patient care assistants.

Your Skills and Experience

  • RCVS registered.
  • Small animal practice experience.
  • A client-oriented approach, with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience of working to the highest medical standards.
  • Experience of working with a team to develop a practice.
  • Experience of building trusting relationships with colleagues, and working effectively as part of a team.
  • A great communicator, you will be an outstanding and positive example to others.
