Here at Bedford Clapham we’ve got a brand new advanced ultrasound machine, digital x-ray machine, new dental machine, two consulting rooms and a large, purpose-built brand-new practice that is very spacious.

We are an ISFM member practice as well as an RCVS PSS accredited practice.

The team structure is 2 vets, 3 nurses (including our mobile nurse), a PCA, and a receptionist.

Practice is in Bedfordshire, and next door to Cambridgeshire and Buckinghamshire. Less than an hour from London and Heathrow.

 

The role

We are looking for a Student Veterinary Nurse, recently graduated or experienced RVN to join the team at Medivet Bedford Clapham.

The clinic has a good surgical and medical caseload, which will enable you to develop your nursing skills fully. You will be supported by a large team of nursing staff including RVNs, SVNs and Patient Care Assistants.

Previous experience working in a small animal practice is required. This position provides you with the opportunity to develop nursing clinics and use your initiative to promote new ideas.

This is a full time permanent position, covering 43 hours per week. You will also be part of a weekend rota, covering 1:4 Saturdays.

Salary & Benefits:

SVN salary of up to £23,349 per annum

RVN salary of up to £30,000 per annum
