Client Care Assistant – Veterinary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Client Care Assistant to join our lovely team at the Lower Earley practice, in a beautiful setting of a small animal practice. This position offers a competitive salary, dependent on experience.

You must share our values being trustworthy, caring and progressive, you’ll also take the initiative in customer service and have caring, thoughtful communication skills. Of course, share our love of animals and be able to deal with patients and clients in sometimes distressing circumstances.
40 hours a week
National Minimum Wage
Your average day will include a variety of responsibilities such as: welcoming and assisting all clients, dealing with a busy switchboard and arranging call backs, scheduling appointments and entering lab results into the client’s files, taking payments, ensuring the consult rooms are fully stocked, general administration duties and ensuring the reception area is always kept clean and tidy.
Your skills and experience
- Reception or customer-facing experience
- A love of animals
- Good standard of written and spoken English
- A positive approach to solving problems
- The ability to work under pressure
The practice is situated in a leafy suburb on the outskirts of Reading. It has a loyal client base and passionate dedicated team of vets and nurses.
Robert the Branch partner holds a GPCertExAP (general practitioner certificate Exotic Animal Practice) and is studying towards a CertAVP (advance practitioner status with the RCVS).
