The role

To switch clients old healthcare plans in practices to the Medivet Healthcare Plan (MHP). To support practices with the switch by assisting MHP team with planning and coordinating training with the MHP training team.

Key accountabilities

  • Regularly check MHP tickets (several times throughout the day) when covering MHP Administrator holiday/sickness.
  • Respond to any queries that come through in tickets in a timely manner.
  • Maintain the legacy plan pipeline, ensuring that all data is correct and up-to-date.
  • See through each MHP switch process from beginning to end to ensure a smooth transition for both client and practice
  • Meet with healthcare plan provider where necessary (with line manager
  • Identify any practices that need any additional support and communicate this to line manager to decide who will pick this up
  • Update the MHP operations team at the weekly status meeting about practices in switch.
  • Weekly data work to ensure plans are administered correctly and fix any errors that may have occurred.
  • Contact practices where banking details have not been added to subscription plan portal.
  • Support the transfer of MHP between owners/practices and ensure all details are correct.
  • Working with practices to calculate cancellation fees and cancel plans for deceased pets
  • Work with practices where there are account failures and/or issues with the payee bank details.
  • Contribute to the MHP operations function and MHP training materials.

  • Comfortable talking to internal and external stakeholders over the phone and face-to-face
  • Maths, English and Science GCSE’s highly desirable
