The role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Speke, Liverpool.

Joining our professional, personable team in the practice, you’ll deliver exceptional care by going beyond consulting to listen and empathising, putting patients and clients first, always.

This is a full time position over 4 days with either 1:3 Saturday’s or 1:6 full weekends

As qualified MRCVS, you’ll already have good experience gained in small animal practice. You’ll be competent in clinical examination and surgery and confident working sole charge or as part of the wider team. Branch

The practice is on the outskirts of Liverpool by the John Lennon Airport and has strong transport links to M62, M57 and M56. Medivet Speke is a friendly one Vet practice that has a lovely loyal client base. Within your role you will work alongside a supportive team lead by Head Nurse Vicky and her team.

You must be an experienced vet with a client-oriented approach and excellent communication skills, work to a very high standard both medically and surgically and have the drive and ambition to help develop this practice further. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-5 years’ UK small animal practice (or UK equivalent) experience. This role requires a motivated vet to work confidently in a sole charge environment with the ability to make sound clinical judgement.
