Through regular performance reviews and catch-ups, we provide you with a wealth of opportunities to develop your skills in whichever way you choose.
In this highly rewarding and fulfilling role, you’ll work closely with vets and nurses in practice, you’ll assist with essential nursing duties and care, all while being supported by the practice staff and your dedicated Clinical Coach.
This role offers minimum wage, increasing to £30,000 when you qualify and become RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
- £2000 London weighting allowance
- RCVS and VDS paid
- 4-weeks annual leave plus bank holidays
- 43 hours per week including weekend shifts with time back in lieu
Skills and experience
- Applicants must currently be enrolled in college as a Student Veterinary Nurse
- Confident with routine anaesthesia
- Ability to communicate effectively, demonstrate initiative and demonstrates empathy with patients and clients
- Adaptable, friendly with good customer service experience to continue building strong relationships with our clients
Branch
Medivet Battersea is a fantastic practice, it’s finished to a high standard providing our team with a nice working environment and everything we need to provide great care.
The team is led by our lovely Branch Partner, Miha who has over ten years of experience. We have a mix of consult, inpatient and surgical cases including advanced surgeries. We regularly have a visiting orthopaedic vet offering a great opportunity to learn.
The practice is well equipped with digital and dental x-ray, ultrasound, tonometer, blood pressure machine, ECG, full-lab including microscope, haematology and biochemistry analyser. Endoscopy, Ultrasound and CT available at Camberwell 24-Hour
Our clients are dedicated to their pets and we are lucky enough to work in a practice where we can thoroughly work-up cases.
We’re in a great location, situated just south of the River Thames, next to Battersea Park and a short walk from Clapham Junction Station.
