Our 3-vet team is led by Branch Partner, Giuseppe. Giuseppe has a certificate in Small Animal Medicine. We have a fantastic support team including our Debbie, our experienced HRVN plus SVN, PCA and dedicated Receptionist.
We keep majority of procedures in-house, so we have a great caseload with access to our nearby hospital for more complex cases. We hope to have a new ultrasound machine soon therefore someone with an interest in diagnostics could complement the team well!
The Role

Progression and development are at the heart of everything we do, and we’re dedicated to supporting our Student Veterinary Nurses as they start their career in nursing.
Through regular performance reviews and catch-ups, we provide you with a wealth of opportunities to develop your skills in whichever way you choose.
In this highly rewarding and fulfilling role, you'll work closely with vets and nurses in practice, you'll assist with essential nursing duties and care, all while being supported by the practice staff and your dedicated Clinical Coach.
This role offers minimum wage, increasing to £30,000 when you qualify and become RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
- £2000 London weighting allowance
- RCVS and VDS paid
- 4-weeks annual leave plus bank holidays
- 43 hours per week including weekend shifts with time back in lieu
Skills and Experience
- Applicants must currently be enrolled in college as a Student Veterinary Nurse.
- Ability to communicate effectively, demonstrate initiative and demonstrates empathy with patients and clients
- Adaptable, friendly with good customer service experience to continue building strong relationships with our clients
The Branch
Medivet Southwark is a well-established practice in the heart of London, it's a great place to continue your career with plenty of support to further develop routine and other soft tissues surgeries.
Our practice has everything we need to provide great care including two consult rooms, theatre, digital x-ray, blood pressure machine, ECG, full lab including microscope, haematology and biochemistry analyser.
Through Medivet’s collaborative approach, we have access to advanced diagnostics, including CT Imaging and seamless round the clock care via our Camberwell 24-Hour Hospital, and the input of certificate holders and wider colleagues, which allows us great follow through on our cases when things go beyond first opinion level.
